Also, it’s been a couple of years since you posted. Have you started your build?

Re: 24 volt?
It seems short sighted to no support 24v.
For the few items that need 12v it isn’t a big deal to convert 24 down to 12v.
That advantages of 24v seem to outweigh the disadvantages.

BRS Handle Location (taking up valuable panel space).
I am wondering if it reasonably practical to move the BRS handle from the panel to an overhead position (like Cirrus does) in the Sling HW. Given the limited panel space in the Sling, that handle panel space could be used for something else (like the proper controller) so that there would be room fo...

Want to cut in line for Sling HW kit!
I have a Sling HW kit on order. The wings and empennage kit are bing shipped. However given previous inflation price hikes and now tariffs I’m thinking about bailing and buying a used plane. If you are interested in a Sling HW and don’t want the multi-year wait let me know. (I placed my deposit in 2...

Re: Canada
Sling and Aviation101 recently posted videos of flying to Canada.
I thought you needed 12” tall number for flying internationally. Is that not true for Canada or is it just not enforced.

Re: Rotax 915iS C24
It’s been a couple of years, any further thoughts about supporting 24v? There is a start up bringing Thermawing technology to the experimental market that requires 28 volt on the external alternator as well as some air conditioning units that use 28v systems. For those items requiring 12v, why not j...

Re: Completed Sing TSi N981EB
I’m about to enter into a Build Assist for a High Wing. Overall I’m very excited about the project. My one concern is about price increases. 2 years ago (when I placed my deposit) a completed IFR kit was around $320k and now it’s about $420k. (I realize inflation happened). It just not clear that I’...

Re: De-icing / Anti-Icing Systems for the TSI
The prop would be the first thing you would want to de-ice. If there isn't a solution for that first, there's no reason to spend time figuring out something for the airframe. I have worked with the Kelly Aerospace Thermawing system for years but it's a power hog (7,500 watts) and requires a 130 amp...

Re: Sling HW Radio Silence ?
I attended the build seminar in Michigan a couple of weekends ago. They have 1 HW in process and there calendar board showed a half dozen scheduled to be started in the comings months. I also visited the Torrance site and there were few fuselages there in various early stages of assembly. They are g...

Sling TSi baggage area
Hello,
I’m considering a Sling TSi (or High Wing) and was wondering what the useful baggage is like if the parachute is installed. I recently saw a MojoGrip video and it seems that there isn’t much room. Can you fit a couple of carryons in the baggage compartment if a parachute is involved?
Thanks
