There is a similar "overlap" of hinge parts in the flaps as well. The diagram depicts it as one drawing but it should be a two step rivet process.

The seat back is a little taller. Found some "Gotchas" already in the plans.... Seat Base missing 2 holes (1 a side) for the rivet for the hinge bracket. Not a big deal I drilled in myself Parts list refers to rivets HW-253 counter-sunk to put the seat together. HW-153 domed were packed. T...

I have been shipped the new seats but not the build manual, hence the confusion. TAF sent me the instructions.

Per TAF instructions I heated the indented area with some foam to push out the indentation. Worked pretty good. A little filler and it should look ok.

I plan on the same method with the tips using the wing ends as the foam template.

Decided to move this to Tsi to eliminate confusion. Anyone have a "pre=fit" photo of the composite wingtips? I just want to see how others looked. I seem to have large gaps with the skins

Those look great. I chose those also because the exterior will be a two-tone grey with red trim.

I'm setting up the left aileron (the side for which I have complete parts ) and I'm looking at the "Do not Rivet" section of the build manual. I understand the reason is for the alignment but I am wondering about the counter weight. Is it riveted before the alignment? nothing like paralysi...

So it looks you left the 4 upper Rivnuts alone? your solution looks great.
