I believe the Factory now actually default alodines some of the parts as I've seen on some pictures from newer kits, so you might not even have to do it yourself anymore.

Can #slingsupport confirm that's the case now?

Thanks for the fantastic writeup.

I was considering adding some dummy weights to the front to move the CG, but if adding the external Alternator could help alleviate some of that, and also help with the far end of the electrical load, then I'll have to give that another closer look :)

The latest iteration of the POH from Sling Rev 2.2 says that best glide speed is KIAS 72 and translated to a glide ration of 12:1.

If you have the normal heated pitot tube, then you'll just have power and ground running back. If you have the regulated one, you'll have one more signal wire that can tell the panel whether the pitot heat is actually currently heating (based on temp sensors).
