I live just south of Memphis TN, and hope to start my TSi build soon. I intend to purchase the kit in stages, beginning with the empenage and wings in May 2020. Leaning toward a Dynon avionics package. Enjoying learning from the Trail Blazers building ahead of me.

One thing TAF needs to work on, is the completeness of each kit. Right now, it seems like there are a lot of components for each kit that are found in another kit. I think you can mostly get by with the wings and empennage, but you won't want to build the fuselage without also having the finishing kit and undercarriage available to you during the build. The push rods for the ailerons and flaps will be in the finishing kit, and although they can be installed after the wings are complete, it is much easier to do so before you have closed up the skins! (I'll probably end up removing them to paint anyway)
