Soon-to-be Tsi Builder

Post by ibgarrett »

Hi everyone. I finally managed to get off of FB and probably the biggest thing I'm going to miss is the Sling page. The Sling Pilots Forum is going to have to make do, but I'm sure the group will do well here.

We've got a full Tsi build on order. My wife and I are going to be building it in our garage up to the wings needing to go on. Looking forward to contributing to the development efforts overall.

Thanks - Brian

Welcome, Brian!

Congratulations on your kit order. Did you test fly the Sling in California?

Hi - I did test fly the Tsi in CA a few weeks ago. It climbs like crazy and is extremely nimble on the controls. One thing I discussed with Jean was how difficult it would be to do an actual power-on stall given how it climbs. I'm definitely anxious to get the kit and get going on it. The sooner I can build, the sooner I can fly. :D

I did both power off and on stalls. Much more benign than I expected.
