TSi Build in New Zealand

Post by tokyovigilante »

Hi Everyone,

I'm Ryan, a PPL in Sunny Taranaki, New Zealand. I've just ordered my TSi kit (SB tail, otherwise QB) and can't wait to get started. I'll be logging at https://slingtsi.testtoast.com, and there's a bit over there about my motivations and planning etc. I'm planning an IFR build, and to address the big questions, I'm:
  • Rattle-can priming the tail and relying on the factory alodining otherwise,
  • using a VP-X instead of circuit-breakers,
  • adding the parachute,
  • adding LR tanks and
  • installing the external alternator.
Looking forward to my build, and being a part of this great community!

Welcome to the group. I think the one that amazes me about this plane (not that I have experience in others) is how global the presence is. It's very cool to see!
