Planning TSI build later this year

Post by KJohnson »

Hi all,

I'm currently living in Dayton OH, and will be moving to Wichita Falls TX this Summer. I'm planning to start a TSI build once we get settled in down there. We currently own a Grumman Traveler. I'm looking forward to building and owning a faster plane with modern tech.

I'm a relatively new pilot. My wife and I started Paramotoring 3 years ago, and ran into a gaggle of CFIs one day in late April. I had always written off general aviation as "too expensive", but an extended exercise in incrementalism has gotten me here. I'm hoping to have an instrument rating by the time we leave Ohio.

I have lots of questions, but I'll hold them until I've browsed the forum more (this was my first stop).

If anyone's curious, I found this place through one of Evan Brunye's videos' annotations:

Welcome to our group and I look forward to you joining us builders on the journey :)

I've recently watched a bunch of videos of Paramotors and it looks pretty cool, I saw some in action at Oshkosh last year as well.
