Any tips on washing then applying corrosion protection to your Rotax engine...

Might be worth reaching out to Rotax on that question. I'm unaware of anything specific to treating the engine itself. In fact I haven't ever heard of that really. If you're getting a lot of moisture in the engine bay you're flying in a lot of rain.
