Engine cowling panel latches

I'm wondering if anyone has considered installing a hand-push latch instead of using Camlock/Dzus fasteners for the engine cowling panels so that you don't need to carry around a screw driver to check the oil level before every flight.
I've been looking for a few latches such as the KM610 series that's used in Cessnas, but I haven't gone far enough down the rabbit hole yet to figure out which would fit.
