Question for HW builders. Is anyone installing Cies fuel senders on their HW and are you replacing all 3 (2 main and 1 header)? I contacted cies and they said they were not familiar with HW and have only worked with Sling TSi.

I specified CiES fuel senders for my factory built HW which has just completed test flying and is about to be loaded into a container for shipping. Early last month, I requested confirmation that they were installed in both wing tanks and the header tank and the reply was yes.

Thanks @reigate... Midwest Panel Builders has since informed me that they prefer to use the generic Sling header tank fuel sender as a "low" switch to send message to Garmin G3X crew alert system (Warning/Red) rather than showing a fuel quantity level in the header tank. The wing fuel tank senders are the same as the Sling TSi which you can pre-order on CiES website. Essentially 2 TSi wing senders and hardware from CiES.

Somewhat related. I've repeatedly encountered conversations in which people have been saying the TSI needs 4 senders (two inboard and two outboard) to cover the full range of fill states. With the reduced dihedral of the High Wing, I imagine just the inboard pair will suffice. There might still be a little lack of coverage at the full end of the range, but it should be substantially less gap than in the TSI, right?

I'd imagine probably a little lag when tanks show full even though elapsed time would say otherwise. I too wanted more senders when reading plans but after building rib 22 (inboard fuel tank rib)... I'm very happy with 2 inboard senders and a clock.

Follow up on install process. Cies requires (specific to sling) that you use adhesive to stick the sender nutplate onto the rib using CB420 epoxy adhesive. The Cies kit comes with springs used to apply even calibrated pressure while the epoxy cures. Instructions attached.
