I’m curious if anyone knows how many Sling TSI Builds are underway? It seems like they are selling kits like crazy and every build center has several under way. Anyone have real numbers? I know the FAA site is probably months behind but they are still only showing four or five TSI’s on the registry if I’m searching correctly. I’ve done some research on financing experimental aircraft and they want to see 25 built and registered if I go that route. Seems like it might be a while before they get to 25.

Haven’t seen that webpage in quite a while, definitely more TSI’s than last time I looked.

Given that the TSi is just about two years old, it will probably be a bit longer before you hit the 25 in the US, or is your bank ok with worldwide, then it might be a few more.

All the ones flying in the US so far have only been done with build assist as far as I know, I don't think anyone who's doing the build themselves has finished yet, I'm guessing Evan Brunye will probably be the first to finish.

That's funny. They have a link to my EAA build log but I don't appear on the map.

I have just started building TSi kit # 193 here in Baker FL (18FD). Might make it on the map someday?
