Actual empty weight?

The empty weight of the TSi is specified as "500kg". This seems like a suspiciously round number. Are actual builds coming out to this weight or is there the typical weight gain from various things builders are putting into their planes that aren't included in the factory number? I've heard about ballast to keep the CG in limits, but what about upholstery/avionics/paint/etc?

I have a W&B from N135WT (the plane that they use in Torrance for demo flights) from 2020 and the empty weight of the plane (which has the parachute) is 537.50kg or 1184.98lbs.

So yes, fully assembled plane with paint and parachute are pretty close to the 500kg empty weight.

I do also have a W&B spreadsheet what removal of the parachute and cables would do and it reduces the empty weight by 24kg and moves the CG forward by about 2% MAC.
