How are builders securing the cover? BTW: my QB kit holes came dimpled from the factory. Though it will be a pita, I am thinking of doing a a whole mess of nutplates riveted through the plexiglass and the aluminum backing strip - AND countersinking the holes in the plexiglass. Looking for other suggestions. Edit - Clarification: When I say Wing Tip Lights Cover, I mean the cover for the landing and taxi lights

I did exactly that.

My kit (3/20) did not have the 'taco' shaped metal strip later kits had. I counter sunk the plastic and flush rivet the small nut plates to it. If I have the metal backing strip I would have installed the nut plate to that.
