Re: TSi Air conditioning

I think the biggest problem with weight is, that as we know the TSi is a bit aft-heavy, so you'd have to look to mount it up front or else you'd make the aft-weight larger, thus moving the CG even further back, which may realistically limit the plane to being a (very comfortable) 2-seater.

Re: GMU 11 Installed in Right Wing

Neat, just make sure that the direction of your bracket is spot on as the Tolerances for the GMU 11 are very tight. I just happened to have helped do a GMU 11 installation in our club airplane the other day. Make sure that it sits in flight level attitude (+/- 3 degrees) and the orientation (preferr...

Can #slingsupport confirm that's the case now?

Re: Don't Know How To Start

Most builders pay for their kits with cash as they go, since the large bulk of people build the planes themselves (either from scratch, or quickbuild) without a build assist, thus saving the cost of the build assist itself and being able to pay for it as they go (typically first only paying for the ...

Re: External Alternator - 2 Reasons why

Thanks for the fantastic writeup.

I was considering adding some dummy weights to the front to move the CG, but if adding the external Alternator could help alleviate some of that, and also help with the far end of the electrical load, then I'll have to give that another closer look :)

Re: Suggestions & Improvements

Thanks but no thanks. I don’t need more emails. I want to simply go to the forum when I can, and then select a link (button). And see the new forum posts I haven’t seen. Cecil Yes, I'm the same, which is why I prefer the buttons that already exist in the forum under Quick links, and the default to ...
