Re: Elevator counter weight removal
When thinking of this, I immediately think of elevator flutter issues. I hope the engineers have done their homework on the issue.

Re: TSi Quick Build Question:
Awesome! Thanks for the prompt reply! IMHO, there is a reason why the factory is corrosion treating the parts. It is too large of an investment (if you view it as such, as of late, appreciation of GA planes makes it appear they may be) not to take steps to preserve it. I’m really leaning toward a QB...

Re: TSi Quick Build Question:
My wife is in the FB group (I don’t don’t support tech oligarchs), and a guy posted a picture of 3 QBs with Alodine on them, but I believe he was in Holland. I am either going this route, or AKZO primer, as nothing isn’t an option for my build.

TSi Quick Build Question:
I’m seeing some conflicting info about the QB fuse and wing regarding Alodining. Do they come Alodined? If so, how extensive is the coverage? I’m thinking of ordering the QB, but not if there is no corrosion preventative.
Thanks in advance, and Happy New Year, Andy

Re: Fuel and Brake Lines
Do you guys believe that aluminum lines will fatigue over time with vibration. I fly military and civil helicopters and have seen no trouble with braided lines and AN fittings, other than the price tag!

Re: TAF LED Lighting kit
I really love those Brazilian lights, but 100CM seems like it may be HUGE on the wing tips. The complete set is truly brilliant in its display of position and strobes (based on my viewing of the YouTube videos in their site). Does anybody have photos of these mounted on a Sling?

Re: Beringer brakes
Those things are properly gorgeous works of art! Can the be fit to differential pedal brakes. I’ve used the hand brake on Comanches, and widely prefer toe brakes over them.

Andy in lower Alabama
Hello all! My name is Andy, and I’m living in Enterprise, AL (originally from California, but moved here last year here after retiring from the military and seeking a SANE location to raise my children and work). I went on the retired reserve roles of the U.S. Army in April of this year after nearly...
