Re: Short elevator torque tube - help please
Thank you, link does not work but I managed to use your description to find what you were referring to. I think it's going to be too big as well, I'll have to try to be a bit more creative.

Re: Short elevator torque tube - help please
Hi Thanks, yes I’ve done something similar with rivets elsewhere, Dremel is one of my go-to tools. I’m less worried about getting it out, it’s effort but possible. What I’m battling with is getting a replacement rivet in again, rivet guns just don’t fit in there between the ribs and torque tube comp...

Short elevator torque tube - help please
I've installed the short elevator torque tube as well as the fuselage bottom and side skins and the CF-CHL-039/040 components. However, I'm really not happy with the fitment of the torque tube, now that everything is riveted in place, I had to grind a LOT of the inner groove for the center vesconite...

Re: Assembly manuals question
Intro manual was in empennage kit and should be on Dropbox too, just download the Dropbox files and then use the latest version you have between the kit hardcopy and electronic version. I’d recommend getting the electronic versions since you can zoom in on sections which may be difficult to read on ...

Re: North Carolina Prospective TSi Builder
Hi Rob I've just watched your video where you posted that you've sold the Bearhawk. Your build nearly inspired me to build a Bearhawk too, but I eventually decided to go with the TSi. You did a great job there and am sure you will do the same with your new build - all the best with that. I live in S...

Re: Known building "Gotchas" for the Sling TSi
Fuselage A few things to be aware of: 1. The lower part of rib 8 is completely missing from pages 5 and 6 in the KAI version 7.9. Don't forget to attach that, the bolts and rivets need to pass through the upper section into that assembly too. 2. The KAI (version 7.9) does not point out that rivets n...

Re: Interior overhead lighting
As far as I'm aware, only the landing lights are part of the Sling kit, but I stand to be corrected.
