Followup. I ended up installing the Reiff, so far it's working well here in CO.

I live in the Colorado mountains, it's pretty cold here about 6mo of the year. Looking for a pre-heat on the 915 iS for managing cold weather engine starts. Thanks astampa, this is super helpful feedback, my home airport is KANK, in Colorado. My other concern is the weight, it’s pretty light so I'll feel turbulence more. Pretty windy here all winter/spring.
