Re: Documenting a build here?
This is not in any way a harp on the admins of this particular forum, but I would never host a build log, which is crucial to keep and maintain (and might even be a legal requirement), on a site where there's any question about support, how to back up, etc. I'd either do it on a site I own and main...

Re: Building a Sling in Spain
Hi, I could tell you what the situation is in Ireland (which is another EASA regulated country) but there are still differences on rule around Permit/Experimental aircraft across the EU :) There is almost certainly a society or group dedicated to Permit aircraft in Spain and they would be the best o...

Re: Documenting a build here?
I think suggesting the EAA system is missing the point. I was suggesting doing it here in Blog form to try to drive a little more traffic to this site and also for me to better connect to the Sling build community since I will be the only person building one anywhere near my location. However, I've ...

Documenting a build here?
New Years Eve here in Ireland and I'm watching the MSC PALAK (Container ship) bring my HW to me very slowly. I've been giving some thought on how best to document the build. I know the usual route for documenting a build is to set up your own site using Wordpress or some other platform. I've also be...

Re: Picking up kit?
I'm waiting on my kit to also arrive in NL and haven't done anything about shipping to Ireland yet - which is a lot further. Yikes!
Mine is a quickbuild - so more space needed.
FYI - I'm flying out to NL to visit the ABE folks in a couple of weeks.
Let me know how you get on please.

High Wing in Ireland!
I've paid a bunch of money to Aircraft Builders Europe and have been told my kit (no 045) should arrive this side of Christmas. I'd be very interested in connecting with others who are building the same and particularly those who are doin it under EU rules. The Irish Aviation Authority haven't actua...
