Re: Midwest Panel Builders Install Visit
I will leave it to MWPB to give out their pricing as the amount/structure could change over time and the travel expenses will vary depending on where your build location is. Their pricing structure as of my onsite visit was an install fee plus travel expenses. I am comfortable saying their install f...

Midwest Panel Builders Install Visit
Having not posted for some time to the forum, I wanted to share an outstanding experience with a recent Midwest Panel Builders (MWPB) visit to north Texas for our TSi build. Steve and Adam came onsite for three days to get the avionics and related systems installed and working. This was by far the b...

Re: Fuel tanks
Not sure if others have this same variance...on my kit for both the left and right fuel tanks, the end rib (WG-RIB-202-R-F-3 Fuel Tank Rib 202), came with the tooling hole punched to 6mm not the 4.8mm the plans call for. Therefore, the 1x 983 sealed rivet called for on sheet 28 would not work. This ...

Re: Fuel tanks
Checking here one more time before moving on with build. Have not been able to obtain comparable pictures of both left and right fuel senders installed anywhere, so posting my tank pictures below for comments. Flipping the left fuel sender over does get the 180 ohms reading when tank is full so assu...

Re: Fuel tanks
Does anyone have pictures of both the left AND right stock fuel level senders orientation when installed they can share? Specifically the float arm view.

Re: Known building "Gotchas" for the Sling TSi
Wings - on revision 6.1 of the wing manual on sheet 4 it says to use 25x 993 (4.8x10mm) rivets on the rear spar double/triple plates. The rivets need to be 4.8x15mm - also got reply from factory support confirming. This became more clear in later steps when attaching ribs 1-5 to the rear spar where ...

Re: Mods and After Market Options
Here is a small mod to the plans for the VS VOR antenna installation. The goals were to forego cutting notches on the top of the skin/top rib and keep the rivet line buttoned up and a little cleaner. With a “T-shaped” nylon 6/6 spacer (cut from 2.5 inch diameter) it hangs the internal puck about 5/8...

Re: Elevator
I got a good response back from the factory to clarify. It looks like for now, nothing is done with these four left skin/bracket holes and M3 rivnuts until ready to install the trim servo. The M3 rivnuts are actually for attaching to the trim servo itself and the buttonhead screws attach through the...
