Re: Wing Tip Nav/Strobes?
I have chosen to go with Aeroled Pulsar NSP for experimentals on the wingtip and the Aveo MiniMax Aerial for the rudder. I found all the other wingtip solutions looked very mechanical with all the LEDs visible inside the unit. I think the Pulsar looks more elegant. The Aveo Aerial is the only rudder...

Posting pictures
Hey Phillip, Missed you OSH this year. I am trying to post info on things I found during an S2 inspection. However, I am not having any luck adding pictures to my post. I have tried the image button above but only get [img][img]. I am not able to cut and past either. Could you please let me know how...

Re: Question about gas
I have run a couple of GA airports and FBOs. Mogas is difficult for two reasons... and they are business reasons that most pilots don't consider. First, you have to compete with every car gas station in the community. Very few people will fly into a GA airport just because it has Mogas, so it's hard...

Re: TSi Air conditioning
gordsh - Thanks for the post. I have reached out to Errol at Global Aviation Products, the Sling dealer in Australia who worked with Mike at 3-Blade on his TSi and the ac system. They are planning to kit the system. I believe it's belt-driven so you won't be able to have it and the external alternat...

Re: De-icing / Anti-Icing Systems for the TSI
Michael, That's an interesting idea. It might even be lighter weight than TKS on a Cirrus because it's a closed system and not a tank. I would think you would need a different radiator with a separate way of exchanging heat so that if you had a leak someplace in the de-icing system, you wouldn't los...

Re: Inspection Covers
#SlingSupport Would it be possible to purchase Sling inspection panel kits in the future? I am thinking I may need more access on the underside of my TSi wing and I would like the panel to match the others on the plane. Also, do the inspection panels have the same structural integrity as the stresse...
