Re: Battery recharging
The charger also depends on the type of battery you have: lithium ion vs agm/pc1100/650
But yes you can plug it on with everything attached and it will keep it charged for months … although I recommend flying it atleast once a week

Re: Aloha from Hawaii
Yes, an entire slow bluild with engine/prop/FF will be close to half a 20’ container… you also want to consider that if you haven’t placed the order yet it will take close to a year to be delivered to you and that may delay your shipment from the US to Europe also!

Re: Known building "Gotchas" for the Sling TSi
My flaps and ailerons are not dimpled/countersunk rivets - just regular domed 3.2 - and I have no clearance issues on either flap or aileron… just a point for future reference (wing kit from Mar 2020)

Re: 915iS Installation Questions

FP is measured using a T off the supply line to the rail... although Rotax just recently announced a new part to allow FP measurement off the rail end near the FP regulator (a new banjo bolt that will allow a sensor to at...

Prop Orientation
Does it matter how a propeller is oriented when installed? I.E. with #1 cylinder at TDC, should the #1 prop blade be installed in the vertical, horizontal, or somewhere in between? I’m just wondering if there’s a “best practice” or recommended procedure out there.

Re: GMU 11 Installed in Right Wing
FYI: the factory has a bracket for this specific installation - made in CAD to ensure accurate positioning (taking into account dihederal, etc)... all i had to do was ask and they very kindly sent me a GMU11 bracket that fits in the right wing! I had posted some pics on the FB Sling Page... Good Luc...
