Re: How much part cleaning and primer to order?

Hi Greg, Flat builder here. One gallon of the simple green should work for the whole kit with the normal dilution levels recommended on the bottle. I don't think I've gone through all of mine still and I'm hopefully rolling to the airport here in the next month or so. As for the primer, I bought I t...

Re: Beringer brakes

I'm surprised this one slipped by me... I did a video on the Beringer wheels/brakes at https://youtu.be/cI6oqFv7eMg?si=wYuQbv1Zd2IWlnua There are a couple of items to note which can really complicate things quickly, so be prepared for a little extra work if you go this route. I don't know if Sling h...

Re: Discord for Sling?

IMHO the traffic is already quite fractured. Based on what I have been able to see, Facebook is the predominant source of real time data and quite a few folks reference there alone for help. I'm not on Facebook so it makes it challenging for me when I have questions that I'd like to interact with so...

Re: Interior overhead lighting

They may have come from MWPB. That part of the inventory is sorta fuzzy for me because I had a lot of different things underway by the time I got to that box. Edward should be able to confirm if they are included with the kit or if MWPB supplies them. Either way it's best and easiest to just ask. :)

Re: Interior overhead lighting

I just used the lighting that came with the kit... once the wires are run and I get the plane flying, if I want to try something else out I'll give that a swing. :)

Re: Sling TSI or Vans RV-14? Need help!

I suspect 10 months is on par from order to kit delivery time. I may have said it in another post, but Sling in SA is working hard to ramp things up, but 10 months is a pretty average industry delivery time these days. It definitely gives you time to get organized. Once you have an idea of what it t...

Re: MOSAIC and Sling TSi

So Mike was at Oshkosh this year and he said Sling would be working very closely with the FAA to get what they could out of MOSAIC with regards to their lineup. MOSAIC isn't set in stone yet - it's just out for comment, so there may be some changes still. If they aren't able to get the stall speed d...
