Weight & Balance AFT CG Concerns

SLING TSI - Weight & Balance (W&B) Concerns🤓 I haven't bought nor built my Sling yet but while planning & reading all the manuals, I created an Excel Spreadsheet to run various W&B examples. It works perfectly, matches exactly the POH examples, and it warns me immediately if any weig...

Re: Static Lines

Hey guys, Thanks for bringing up this subject! I suspect that the static ports at the back are the most accurate based on most results for most low wing airplanes like the TSI (see https://www.kitplanes.com/static-port-location-and-altitude-calibration/). I also plan to fly the airplane IFR and sinc...

Fuel Tanks Sealing - Clean & No Leak Techniques

I have watched a few videos of builders struggling with the Sling TSI fuel tank sealing mess. Although this professionally done video is over 2 hours long and is for a Vans RV-10 fuel tank, I watched it all and the same principles and techniques demonstrated are priceless & timeless and in my op...

Re: Dual Toe brakes vs Centre brake

Any inputs from anyone who have flown the Sling 4 or TSI and tried tight turns? I have been questioning this for a while, for tight turns I am afraid that just rudder pedals linked to the nose wheel may not be sufficient for tight turns. Re: Tow bar?

Tow bar arrived. Very similar to my last Bogert tow bar. I'll post an update as I get a chance to use it! Please confirm this is the one you are talking about? https://bogertaviation.com/collections/bogi-bars-aircraft-tow-bars-and-tow-bar-accessories/products/bogi-bars-nose-wheel-aircraft?variant=3...

Re: Sling TSi Builder in San Diego

Evan, I raise my hat to you!!! Your videos very extremely informative, and highlighted important deficiencies in the build instructions. Like you, I am a perfectionist and since I will soon be retired, I will have all the time to do things right. WELL DONE PAL!

Re: Bush Tires

All comments above plus the High Wing will have a tailwheel option, thus more prop clearance.
