Flap manual - ver 5 states to dimple/countersink the Flap skin - not needed (note is an error)
Ailerons - rivet #997 should be 2.4 x 6mm stainless steel rivets, not 3.2mm

Make sure you double check which rivets to use! The Empennage kit uses some terms interchangeably- eg: 997/998/999:
997 - RIV 142 (3.2mm) on HS, RD
998 - RIV 153 (4mm) on HS, RD

But :
997 - RIV 454 (4mm) on EL and RIV 242 on VS!
998 - RIV 164 (4.8mm) on EL and RIV 143 on VS!

Hey Guys I've got a question on the FAA requirement (for USA) of keeping pictures and logs of an Experimental Build... what exactly is required? A few pictures of each part as it is built? Detailed pictures/logs/writeups of every step done? Does this have to be electronic or hard copy? I am thinking...

Hey Guys I just downloaded the Sling App on my Ipad as I wait for my Emp kit to be delivered early next week … I have downloaded the TSi build manual on it, but cannot find the 'link' to inventory items/etc... Is there an inventory list for every kit on the app? Or is that still a Work in Progress? ...

Im literally a brand new 'private' pilot - got my check ride in mid dec at 43 hrs total time and now at 47 ... hoping to build up some time when the weather improves a litle in Houston!

I am waiting for delivery of my TSi Emp kit, and will be slowing building in Cypress TX (NW Houston)... Id love to meet yall and discuss notes if we can work something out!

Also - what is the online parts ordering system? Do we need access to it if we order the subkits directly from CA?

For a standard build, is the DRD2 enough? Or should I also get a hand squeezer/smaller tool for access to tight places like ribs?
