Re: Question about gas
It's actually two-fold for certified airplanes. Both the engine, as well as the airframe need to be certified for specific fuel types, since some parts like fuel pumps are considered part of the airframe. So for example for the flight club I'm part of, we can use Mogas in our C172 because both the e...

Re: Reducing drag
The drag of a few pounds added by the Antennas is very marginal at the cruise speed of the Sling. You can find the drag numbers on the Rami website, but it's fairly low and really only becomes a factor for much faster cruise speeds. I doubt hiding the Antennas will make any meaningful difference to ...

Re: Stick grip
Yes, it has all the various options like momentary switches (for trim and such) or permanent switches, you just configure it on the website and they will build it as you want it. It also has the option for a thumb-rest and hand-rest. The installation is basically just a different screw to hold it in...

Re: Stick grip
A lot of people here (myself including) are installing the Tosten Military Style grip, which has a very nice ergonomic feel.

Re: Question about gas
Very likely, since it can also handle 100LL and other fuels and this one is supposed to be a direct replacement 100LL.
But I guess to be safe we'll have to wait for a service letter from Rotax that says as much.
