I'm guessing it won't jump the battery, but I can't imagine it would take too long to get enough juice in the battery so it will turn over the engine.

I have a connector that runs from the battery to the cowling door. Then I plug in the battery tender right at the cowling door.

Edit: It's the Optimate Lithium 12v

Both Foreflight and Garmin Pilot have trial periods you can use for 30 days I believe. I tried both, and use foreflight, mainly because it offers a web based version for flight planning. YMMV

Do the long range fuel tanks stay the same size? If so, with long range tanks you are at about 73 gallons or 276 liters?

Does my math sound right?

I'm guessing the High wing will come with the 916 standard, as by the time the kits are available for sale, the 916 will be released as well.
