FirstRivet.net - My Slingbuild blog
Hi everyone. I introduced myself a little while back (Sept) when I did my deposit. As part of my build I started up firstrivet.net and am working on adding content to it at this time. I am also working on getting the peer YouTube channel going as well. I hope to get at least one of the two videos ed...

Re: Sling TSi baggage area
I was definitely planning on installing parachute in my low wing Tsi. While out in Torrence we flew out to Catalina for lunch and we were parked next to a Cherokee 140... While were parked next to the 140 it was easy to see how much room the parachute was consuming over not. Yes different airplanes ...

Jig for fuel tanks
I've been working on doing as much of the pre-work ahead of my kit arriving and the only thing I can think of at this point in time is a jig for doing the wing tanks. I found a really extensive video on YouTube from Vans on their fuel tanks at https://youtu.be/gTl827JWz68 which makes it seem like th...

Re: Amp Draw? Enough Juice For Oxygen Concentrator?
I guess the overall question is where do you want your weight to be at? I'd have to look at the weight loading for each of the setups. On the O2 generator it looks like they are showing it as a two-person setup, which would work for me in most cases, but it would be nice to build it with a capacity ...

Re: Amp Draw? Enough Juice For Oxygen Concentrator?
I'm unfamiliar with this product (read their marketing material on the website). Is this something that works in place of the traditional O2 tanks?

Re: The Best Panel Switches?
I would imagine some of this is subjective, but I'm definitely interested in this topic as well.
