Fuel and Brake Lines
Fuel and Brake Lines
So I’m thinking of using stainless steel braided line for the fuel and brake lines instead of the provided hose. I don’t think I want to tackle the challenge of aluminum lines. What are the pros and cons between the two in everyone’s opinion?

Re: Fuel and Brake Lines
The benefit of using aluminum lines or steel braided lines from what I've seen is that you'll not have to replace them as soon as traditional rubber lines.
I think Craig Maiman went with steel braided ones and did a write up on his build log on his Sling 4 with some more details.

Do you guys believe that aluminum lines will fatigue over time with vibration. I fly military and civil helicopters and have seen no trouble with braided lines and AN fittings, other than the price tag!
