So I'm seeing some recommendations that instead of shortening the rivets on the trailing edges it's easier, and gives more clearance, to squeeze solid AN470AD rivets in these locations. If I got my numbers correct, it appears an AN470AD-4 rivet has a shear strength of 1400N compared to 720N for the Gesipa 3.2x8mm multigrip rivets (article # 1816967), so from a rivet strength it appears roughly twice as strong, not surprising given solid rivets should be stronger than pulled ones. However, given the regulations for homebuilding in Sweden it's difficult to make such a significant deviation from the official instructions without a blessing from the factory.
