Re: Considering TSi build Toronto
Welcome :) The pulled rivets used in the Sling are not standard pop rivets, they are rivets from a German company called Gesipa and have higher tensile strength than standard pop rivets. Many RVs are built for aerobatics, so they require even higher strength (and work effort) of solid rivets for tha...

Re: New TSi Seats
No, look at the two holes in the seat base itself. Inside, there are reinforcement plates for these holes. https://photos.app.goo.gl/61REa3MMXnpWLSGv7 https://photos.app.goo.gl/61REa3MMXnpWLSGv7 Ah yes, I also have that version with the reinforcement plate and the hole, recently finished - https://...

Re: Sling 2 with 914 engine weights/reviews/thoughts
I'm not sure if there are very many people who actually have the Sling 2 with the 914 configuration, but it might be a great question for the nice folks at Sling to chime in on beyond what's on the website. Pinging #slingsupport if they can chime in with some real world experiences on what would cha...

Re: SlingTSI in Walnut Creek, CA
Welcome to the group.
I look forward to seeing your progress in the coming months
The EAA Build log is a good solution if you don't want to deal with hosting a log yourself, I have listed the couple of options on the builders page here - https://www.slingpilots.com/builders/
