Decided to move this to Tsi to eliminate confusion.
Anyone else see wing tip fittings like these?
Aaron suggested I use foam mold of the outer section and insert in to make the shape. Good idea, just wondering about stress to do so.
I have to reorder the right tip anyway due to a significant dimple on the upper surface. Not sure I'm motivated enough to take the time to fill and sand the dimple

Re: WIng Tip FIt
I haven't tried fitting my Wingtips yet, but I'm wondering whether that is part expected to just bend up in place and held when the rivets are on.
I'll try to do a quick fit today and see if mine looks the same.
Will reply back then.

Per TAF instructions I heated the indented area with some foam to push out the indentation. Worked pretty good. A little filler and it should look ok.
I plan on the same method with the tips using the wing ends as the foam template.
